We had a quiet Easter with just Grandma and Grandpa this year. My favorite part: dyeing Easter eggs! I haven't done this in years, and Owen was old enough to do it mostly on his own. I love the Paas decorating kits. They're still just the same as when I was a kid (Vinegar smell! Cardboard punch-out circles that don't actually hold the eggs in place!), but with some improvements (Glitter!)
Owen and Logan were surprised to wake up and find their Easter baskets filled with...well, not much Easter candy. But Owen did get Hot-Head & Sharp Sai Expert Raphael, his favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, and this turned out to be the highlight of the Easter baskets. Now he keeps saying how much he loves the Easter Bunny. Yeah, thanks Easter Bunny.
