I am not a hot weather person. So when I was already hot at 9:00 this morning, I knew our picnic field trip later on was going to be a scorcher. Luckily I was able to find the shade the whole time, so besides the hot walk to and from the park, the 93 degree weather wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The kids found ways to keep cool, especially with this bucket brought by a parent. They did lots of splashing, spraying, and head-dunking, and one mom had the idea to just throw it all over them. They
loved it! Water and a bucket...so simple, yet so entertaining.
