I hate cleaning paintbrushes. In fact, the preparation and clean up that goes into painting projects discourages me from doing any painting whatsoever, whether it is for an art project or for the walls in my house. But since I'm teaching a summer school art class, painting and paintbrush cleaning were inevitable. After soaking all my brushes overnight in a big bucket of water after our
action painting yesterday, I knew I couldn't put it off any longer. I took them all outside and hosed them down with a spray nozzle. Just like the pros do it, right? But look how pretty they are now with the white bristles stained all the colors of the rainbow.
